We created The Lab Coffee’s brand to reflect its mission as more than just a coffee shop—it’s a space for connection, growth, and discovery. Built around the concept of "Regulate, Relate, Reason," the brand emphasizes coffee as a catalyst for something greater, whether that’s sparking new ideas, forming meaningful relationships, or finding personal clarity. The Lab is designed as a welcoming environment where people can gather, engage in deep conversations, and explore both community and self.
Messaging
The brand messaging is all about simplicity. Lab Coffee focuses on clear directions and not adding extra fluff.
Design Assets
The design assets for The Lab Coffee feature minimalist line art icons placed within rectangular grids, creating a structured yet creative aesthetic.
Color
We used black and white to create contrast and simplify the brand, drawing it all back to the precision of a science lab.

Logo Design
The Lab Coffee logo was designed to showcase both coffee and acai. The two bowls overlap one another creating an optical illusion. This overlap also makes the
bowls appear to be connected and highlights the coffee shop’s goal of fostering community.
